Evidential Weight & Legal Admissibility of Electronic Information

BS 10008 is a management system, which aims to verify the quality and trustworthiness of electronic information by assuring its confidentiality, authenticity, integrity and availability. It applies to both scanned documents and “born” digital information. Unlike 27001 its scope can be limited to particular information held in specified systems at the discretion of the organisation seeking accreditation.
